AC Milan centre-back Matias Silvestrehas claimed the team can do well this season if Mario Balotelli is on song.
The on-loan Inter defender has commented on the former Nerazzurri striker and on his time at their cross-town rival.
“I’m fine here,” Silvestre told Milan Channel. “I’m getting on really well with all my teammates. We train every day together and there has been no problems.
“I think Balotelli is very important to us. He will show his value to this team as the season goes on.”
The Argentinian praised Milan’s final acquisition of the transfer window, Brazil international Kaka.
“Kaka played a great game [against Barcelona in the Champions League]. He trains at 100% every day and will become even more vital as the campaign goes on,” he continued.
“I think everyone can learn from his behaviour.”
The Rossoneri will face Parma this Sunday as they look to improve on their poor Serie A form.
“We just want the three points – they have some tough defenders and some great strikers, so we’ll have to be focused on the job in hand,” he concluded.
